Having enough of my carburetors giving me grief all the time, I thought I&completely restore them. So I bought everything I wanted, and started the camera rolling to record everything. I have a Yamaha FZR 1000 &with standard Mikuni BDST 38mm. However, these carburetors were used in many other motorcycles like YZF 750, XTZ750 Tenere, TDM850, TRX850, some Ducatis etc. So if you have a motorcycle using these particular carburetors, this might be a video you want to watch. In addition, other Mikuni BDSTs of a different bore are very similar to these. And here it is. The first part of how to completely dissemble, restore, assemble and adjust the Mikuni BDST 38 carburetors.
