Apple MacOS Internet Recovery. Command + Alt/Option + R after chime. Won't work 2010 older computer

Disclaimer: Boring Video. I was trying to reinstall my mac OS X on my macbook 2009. Sadly.. why?.. because I was upgrading it to SSD. I had seen other&reinstall the OS so easily using internet recovery... Sadly,.. if you own a mac computer circa 2010 or older, it will not support internet recovery with Command + alt/option + R buttons held together in bootup. Which Macs support macOS internet recovery? Yep, I could have saved myself some heartache if I had read this apple support thread. For an hour.. all I heard was the apple boot up chime! Needless to say, I ended up cloning the hard drive to the SSD using copy cloner hard drive application. Good luck!
