EV Evolve 50M (in white!) unboxing & first impressions

I decided to update my wedding event speakers, and chose the Evolve 50 speaker after lots of research and hearing them in person. These speakers bring a lot of value for my small to medium sized weddings and corporate events/parties: 1) Look amazing, integrating into the venue really well, and matching the look of my new DJ booth / console 2) Sound great - full range of rich sound, with plenty of full room coverage and bass for the dance floor while allowing a conversation to still happen around the room at peak wedding dance time 3) Super efficient for setup and tear down 4) The mixer component provides lots of flexibility and features that I think I will love And so I&loving them so far! After a couple of events with them, they&proven themselves out and I&recommend them fully! There is some shade on these speakers as not being loud enough or having enough bass, and lots of comparisons of this speaker system to the classic sub + top, or big top on a tripod. This is unfortunate because these speakers really are awesome for their purpose! Personally I think there are some DJ&with brand affiliations (true fanboys or via sponsorships), and also there are some folks who think there should be one solution for all scenarios. I will absolutely use these speakers for appropriate scenarios, but have other solutions (mostly my JBL SRX series) for larger parties or anywhere the venue or audio needs require.
