So I had recently did a engine swap and used the original transmission. Good, engine and transmission running fine. Six months later the transmission is acting up. It wouldn&go into gear. And when it did go into gear it made a crunchy noises like a bad axle grind. Sounded more like a construction "crusher" grinding rocks. If you dont know what a crusher is look it up on the web. The sound was horrendous. After so many hours of research on the web I found out that the 3speed A131L has a divided compartment and not shared with the transmission itself. The differential compartment share the same fluids as the transmission but the differential compartment needs it&own service and refills. This problem arises when pulling the CV axle, the fluid will run out from the cv axle ports. when I removed the engine and transmission while I was doing a engine swap I accidentally drained the differential fluid from it&own compartment. It took me 12hrs to separate the transmission from the engine. I went through the transmission and this is what I found... lesson learned.
