After a long search for a successor to my Heco Celan GT 702, I became aware of the Danish manufacturer Dynaudio. The brand has been known to me for a long time, but I never got to grips with it. My setup: - Yamaha A-S700 - Yamaha CD-S700 I was/am very satisfied with the Heco&and can only report positively. The reason for me to sell them was simple, I don&have room for the stand speakers. And so really loud I don&hear that a 3-way LS with two 16cm woofers in my rental apartment justifies itself, so compact speakers had to replace them. My conditions were simple: Authentic, neutral, no extra volume of bass and not too exhausting even after long sessions. The Dynaudio Emit 20, Excite X18 and X14 have made it into the shortlist. After a long time back and forth, dozens of test listens, the X14 have become the X14. Heard, fallen, bought. The loudspeakers at home taken out of the package, connected and set up. The speakers are packed in a cotton wrapping, the tweeters are additionally protected against shocks with a plastic cover, two foam plugs for the bass reflex openings, the magnetic covers and instructions are also included in the packaging. I decided for the colour silk matt white. Quality & Optics: The loudspeakers make a very solid impression, the workmanship is like the loudspeaker briefly "high-end".
