Spesso, vedendo video simili a questo, mi ero chiesto che senso avesse filmare se stessi mentre si esegue una trascrizione. Ma quando ho imparato questi soli mi sono reso conto che contengono uno straordinario bagaglio di informazioni sul linguaggio e sulla tecnica chitarristica nell&della musica improvvisata: accenti, diteggiature, uso delle legature, fraseggio. Come insegnante di chitarra jazz ho pensato allora di condividere questa esperienza con chi volesse a sua volta cimentarsi nella trascrizione, mostrando da vicino il movimento della mano sinistra.
