Comparison of SCENAR with Other Methods of Electrotherapy: Technical and Medical Aspects

Electrotherapy comprises a wide range of therapeutic procedures based on the application of different types of electric currents or fields. These procedures help treat diseases, relieve pain, and reduce inflammation. However, SCENAR goes far beyond typical electrotherapy. It is a unique combined method that integrates the effects of both electric currents and fields, providing a comprehensive therapeutic effect on the patient’s body. In this presentation, Boris P. Kulizhskiy, Deputy Director General for Medical and Biological Issues at RITM OKB ZAO, compares SCENAR therapy with other electrotherapy methods. His report shows the similarities and differences between conventional electrotherapy techniques and SCENAR. In addition to a classical comparison with electro-current therapy, special attention is given to the methods involving electric field influence, as the most closely related to SCENAR technology.
