Keiran Merrick says: "When I was around 7 years old, my dad (@dmerr) bought me a little guitar. 3 days later I returned from school to inform him that I would be performing at a school assembly in 2 weeks time. My dad was a little shocked, after all I had not yet learned to play a single note on the guitar. He had a choice, he could either tell the school I wasn’t ready to perform, or he could teach me to play something in the next two weeks. Being the eternal optimist that he is, he embarked upon teaching me a simple 12-bar blues and luckily I picked it up pretty quick.
