Lexus announced a new project for Tokyo Auto Salon 2022 in collaboration with Japanese tuner Jaos. The new Lexus LX is more luxurious than ever without skimping on its all-terrain capabilities. The Lexus LX 600 “Offroad” Jaos is a tuned version of the large SUV featuring aftermarket parts made of carbon-fiber-reinforced plastic for a rugged look as well as other modifications that improve its off-road credentials. The Lexus LX 600 “Offroad” was already a decent performer off the beaten track, but Jaos took it a step further without tweaking the underpinnings. Combines the exclusive "Offroad" version&exterior design that projects powerful off-road performance, with JAOS&distinctive rugged customization and is sure to inspire a sense of adventure for its driver and passengers. The exterior uses lightweight, high rigidity infusion-molded CFRP parts for the front and rear bumper skid protectors, as well as for the over fenders. the 20 inch 10 spoke Enkei forged rims called Jaos Tribe Cross are finished in Titanium Gold for a rally inspired look. More importantly, the new wheels are shod in beefier 285/55R20 Toyo Open Country A/T Tires for a better grip. Competition level lightness and strength highlights the LX 600 "Offroad" high level of performance. Lexus and Jaos didn’t change anything under the hood, which means that the LX is fitted with the stock twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 producing 409 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque.
