Emily Jane - ‘A Song For Emily’ - (Composed by Susan Grice) - Yamaha C40 Classical Guitar

Yay! I’ve invested in a new guitar 🎸🎵⭐️ With being in lockdown and all, I decided to go for an entry level Yamaha C40 ☺️ I’m impressed with it, and I’ve loved getting used to playing it - it’s quite different from the Fender. My mum is an amazing classical guitar player, and I admire her talent each time she plays her guitar for me. This piece is one my mum wrote years ago, probably before I was born. It brings back fond memories of me listening to her playing it when I was a little girl ☺️ So I asked her to send me a video of her playing it - and on FaceTime my mum went over it with me - it’s safe to say I’ve practiced it a lot 😄 Also, I’m not sure which one is harder - singing and playing or classical guitar. I’ve come to the conclusion it’s classical - there is nothing to hide behind and no room for error. So I dedicate this piece to my wonderful, clever and beautiful Mum ♥️ After 10 months of teaching myself to play the guitar I hope I’ve done it justice ♥️🎵♥️ We DO own the copyrights to this music!
