Here is the classic bellydance arm wave  called snake arms.... This arm wave has a lot of very expressive variations. Let us take a look a at a couple of them. First of all, you can change the level of your arm wave, lifting your arms as you perform this wave... You can also change the plane of this movement in relation to your body. For instance this movement, sometimes referred to as &arms&is the same snake arms wave, only your arms come to be in front of your body...Your shoulders are still rotating forward and back ... it&shoulder, elbow , wrist....shoulder, elbow , wrist.... You can also move your arms along diagonals and make this wave more angular, let your elbows bend all the way... your hand floats away from you as your elbow lifts and it comes toward your heart as your elbow descends. This arm movement is combined with a figure 8 of your chest,  and your ribcage will be turning side to side - it&a 3-dimensional trajectory. Let us remember our chest...
