Find out how the next generation of chips needs to be fabricated in a vacuum chamber. For Moore&Law to continue beyond 2020, chip makers will switch to Extreme Ultraviolet (EUV) imaging scanners to project electronic circuits on silicon wafers. This can only be done in a chamber without air. The first production machines will be installed at chip makers around the world in 2010.
