The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection came out earlier today. If you haven&heard about it, Konami and Digital Eclipse put together a compilation of just about all of the classic TMNT games, from arcade, to console, and even the Game Boy. They&included some enhancements for some of the games as well. It&a nice follow up to Shredder&Revenge. For the SNES versions of Turtles in Time, you can now run by pressing a single button. I think that&a big improvement for this game, because the dash didn&seem to work consistently when I playing this on an emulator earlier (maybe real hardware is better?). But unfortunately, you can&change which button the run is mapped to. By default, it&the right trigger on an Xbox controller. That&where I&put it on a game pad too, but that doesn&work very well on most arcade stick layouts. I hope they add that to the button mapping menu. (Side note: you need to keep dash on "auto" in the options menu for it to work; manual disables it) There&also no longer a macro for attack+jump, which the SNES version has in several of its control schemes. That¬ a big deal, but it&a weird oversight to leave it out. I&playing the PC version. Right now it has a stuttering bug, which you can see at 14:04 - 14:12. That was an especially bad instance of it, and it doesn&happen in every run. I was able to play for hours without it happening at all. But it&still an annoying issue that needs to be fixed.
