Lotus Type 49 - Monza 1966 Road Course World Record 1:25.597 - Assetto Corsa

This is the most popular track with Lotus Type 49 on RSR. Why ? Because the car was driven on this circuit in 1967, and you can really feel that the Type 49 is really suited for this long straights and fast corners, making it a very enjoyable combo. Another reason is that it&an achievement in the game to beat Jim Clark&fastest lap 1:28.5. It&crazy to think that these guys were going this fast back in the days, considering there was near to zero concerns about security. They were literally driving close to the trees in a 4 wheel coffin... Those guys were the definition of BRAVE.
