It&taken me a long time to get this in my hands. About four years ago I was looking for my &guitar&I got a fair few suggestions from great folks, including a few people saying &everything you&doing and check out a Chris Broderick sig from Jackson&I was intrigued but there was absolutely no way to get my hands on one. Delivery times were measured in years, not months, and there were absolutely none on the used market. I tried out a Majesty, a high-end ESP seven string, a j.custom Ibanez (Which I bought and returned), and the Caparison which I ended up keeping - but in the back of my head that Chris Broderick guitar set up shop in my head as my dream instrument. And today, I finally received mine. Essential specs: - 25.5 inch scale - 7 strings - Passive humbuckers (DiMarzio Chris Broderick set, based on a D-Activator and a PAF pro). - Coil split for both pickups via push-pull volume pot - Tone knob bypassed until pulled (Like the Misha guitars) - Floyd Rose Pro (the one with the fine tuners out of the way and the allen bolts on top) - 24 stainless steel frets - Ebony fretboard with no inlays and a quilted maple binding - Quilted maple top with reveal body binding - 4+3 headstock with quilted flame veneer and binding - D&Waves locking tuners - 12&radius fretboard - Mini toggle kill switch
