I sliced my finger open - healing time lapse I sliced my finger on a mandolin slicer back in January 2021, it was one of the most excruciating pains i have been through. It was bleeding heavily and had to get medical treatment. I decided to take a photo almost daily to do a time lapse of the healing process and see how long it took. It has completely healed over now but does have a little pain in there as there are still plenty of nerve endings that are still healing underneath. Moral of this video is always use the safety handle on a mandolin slicer.
