Там шли два брата - Two Brothers was going there or "There were two brothers" is a russian cossack song originating all the way during the 19th century where this folk song goes over two battle fronts that Russian Cossack soldiers were deployed in during the 19th Century, Poland and Turkey. Now, Russia had been going to war with Poland for most of its existence. It is unclear if the song mentioned the Russo-Polish War 1654–1667, the Partitions of Poland, or the Russian skirmishes against Napoleonic Poland in the early 19th century. The Song indeed mentions the Russo-Turkish War multiple times preferring the war in the 1877-1878. It was a song of Russian Cossacks and was used during deployment often in World War I and the Russian Civil War for the White Army. It really makes me proud for the White Army in the Russian Civil War!
