Mercedes-Benz ML Accelerator Pedal Replacement (W163)

Today we swap out the loose and somewhat stiff gas pedal in our 2000 ML320 for a new OEM unit. The plastic bushings in these wear out over time, causing the pedal to become stiff when in use and have side-to-side movement. Replacing with a new one is a cheap fix, and is much easier than some of the more complex solutions such as machining custom bearings for them.
