This potentially catastrophic engine issue affects a range of Toyota Highlander, Venza, and Sienna vehicles equipped with the optional tow package oil cooler. The high-pressure oil lines from the engine to the oil cooler may leak or even burst causing engine failure. Toyota did issue a Technical Service Bulletin T-SB-0201-11 linked here: Owners of affected vehicles should perform the repair recommended in the TSB with the part numbers listed in the document. At this date, these vehicles are no longer covered by Toyota, so the repair is to be done at owner&expense.
