Localization implies the complex of operations to adapt the program product to the language of a country or countries where the program is distributed. In order to speed up and make easier the localization process we have developed the special program named WLD editor, that is used for dictionary file editing and visual editing dialogs sizes. Initially all programs have English interface. But after you have placed the translated dictionary file into the root folder of installed program, you’ll see the results of you translation work during the next starting. On messages and names of interface elements translation the translated lines can be longer than their sources (originals) in English, and because of this they can’t fit the dialogs. To change the dialog elements sizes in accordance with the text length WLD editor is used, in which you change the sizes in visual mode (it is like a work with dialogs constructor in MS Visual Studio). To edit the sizes it’s necessary that the program which dialogs you are going to edit has been installed on the computer. In settings WLD editor (View-Options-WLD-file root) specify the root to the folder where the program is installed. If this folder isn’t specified or specified wrong the visual dialog editor will not work (while switching to the dialog window sign the message will appear: "Cannot load DLL which contains dialog") After you have changed the elements sizes or their positions using WLD editor, at the same folder where the...
