The used formula is the one from the Mandelbrot set: f(Z)=Z²+C. In this video I play with the values of both the Z and the C complex numbers. The 6 parts of the image show different slices combining the components of the complex numbers C and Z. At any moment the central point (pixel) is the same for all 6 parts of the image, and is described by the numbers show at the top. (top - left): Re(C) in x axis, Im(C) in y axis. (top - center): Re(C) in x axis, Re(Z) in y axis. (top - right): Re(C) in x axis, Im(Z) in y axis. (bottom - left): Im(C) in x axis, Re(Z) in y axis. (bottom - center): Im(C) in x axis, Im(Z) in y axis. (bottom-right): Re(Z) in x axis, Im(Z) in y axis (this is the actual Julia Set).
