Born: Burt Freeman Bacharach. May 12th 1928. Kansas City, Missouri, USA. – Died: February 8th 2023. Los Angeles, California, USA. Aged 94. Mr. Bacharach, a Composer, Songwriter, Pianist, Singer who also has numerous awards to his name, had a rare gift that very few attain in their artistic life. Most importantly, he was consistent and had a long and distinguish career that spanned over 70 years. Obviously dance requires music, and not all danceable music can capture the songs meaning/emotions. As with the song “Walk On By,” the combination of the music and lyrics are pure artistic perfection. However when you are combining a Grammy Award Nominated Song “Walk On By” with the amazing but simple choreography by Tom Hansen. It captures the emotions of the song that is performed by and the dancers.
