Roland SE-02 vs Behringer Poly D - NO TALKING - When Poly Met SE

Side by playing of the Roland SE-02 and Behringer Poly D synthesizers. Figured it would be fun to compare two minimoog style synthesizers. Note: The Poly-D is a few hundred dollars more. The comparison starts off with both synths at single triangle oscillators and goes from there. After a few filter sweeps with various resonance settings, I then add the additional oscillators so you can hear how they compare as the sounds get thicker. Note: as I added oscillators, the SE-02 was much more impacted by this which led to a bit of clipping. Sorrrrrrrry. Most of the notes for the entire comparison is just C2 at 120 bpm lasting about a quarter note each time. At about 9:30, the sequence is stopped in order to play notes and showcase some of the features one synth has vs the other. Examples: SE-02&delay and cross-mods vs Poly D&4th oscillator, paraphony, chorus and distortion. As always, the goal with multiple synths on this channel is to see how each instrument sounds with the other and to improve my key and programming chops.
