It was about time that BFGoodrich gives us something new in the winter tires department! The old BFGoodrich WINTER SLALOM KSI was not a bad choice, but sure could use improvement! For this year, Canadian can be rolling that bad wheater in security with the new BFGoodrich Winter T/A KSI! The new BFG Winter T/A KSI winter tire is performing better than its predecessor in the snow, slush, and ice! It will be also offering good handling, strong braking and low noise on clear pavement. The Winter T/A KSI is a directional, T-speed rated tire made to handle severe winter conditions The BF Goodrich Winter T/A KSI goes on sale in September 2017, when it will be available in 32 common sizes, with six more joining the range in mid-2018, for a total of 14 new sizes compared to the outgoing Winter Slalom KSI. BFGoodrich Winter T/A KSI Highlights: - Directional tread pattern; - Tread compounds that contain more silica - T speed rating, instead of S with the predecessor tire; - Higher sipe density for maximum "biting edges"; - Serrated shoulder profile, for grip in deep snow; - Wide lateral grooves and two circumferential grooves for enhanced water/slush evacuation - Greater use of saw-tooth groove edges.
