Magnesia brick has the advantages of strong alkali corrosion resistance, strong erosion resistance, good thermal stability, high compressive strength, and high load softening temperature. The refractoriness of magnesia bricks can reach more than 2000 ℃, and its load softening temperature varies greatly with the melting point of the cemented phase and the number of liquid phases produced at high temperatures. Generally, the starting temperature of load softening of magnesia bricks is between 1520 and 1600℃, while high-purity magnesia bricks can reach 1800℃.
