In the world full of fans of video games of yesteryear and the ones that still retain their full game library from said era...many levels of expertise have been deployed to figure out how to get them to run on newer systems (sometimes, even older ones). Virtualization has allowed for some games to be easily reinvigorated...while others, for a host of reasons, still remain a problem. This short-ish video is not a catalog of the topic but just one example I&going to leave up here to share with others...because it&the one that vexes me most at the moment. I find that sometimes just being able to describe the exact problem, the information seeker can direct him or herself along the channels of the web, arriving eventually at the solution. I have spent weeks trawling through a wide array of messageboards, help tutorials, and have found nothing that seems to offer succor to my languishing need. Somewhere in the middle lies a portion of the community who are willing and able to share their knowledge, but their presence is spread out among a wide area, and often...they just don&have the time to attend to your specific problem. I&hoping by sharing this (and other videos for other problems), there will be less of a problem communicating what is happening "on the ground," as it were. And if you have had this specific issue, or you can easily identify what may actually be happening...I would appreciate it. Googling "Rainbow Six" +"choppy video" +"virtualbox +"audio stutter"...
