It&taken me 31 years of practice to bring you this two minutes of music! I discovered boogie-woogie music at a young age thanks to fellow Canadian pianist Michael Kaeshammer. Everything I know about playing this music, I learned from him. Well... copied from him, is more like it! Most everything I am playing in my right hand comes from Kaeshammer&version of "Boogie Woogie Stomp" by pianist Albert Ammons. The left hand though, is uniquely mine. I never could do the octave walking-bass like Kaeshammer can, so over the years I&developed a walking technique where I stay within the octave, riding the top note. I also like adding a VI, ii, V, I progression into the left-hand at the end of phrases. If you want to hear some boogie-woogie performed by the Monster-Maestro himself, check out Michael Kaeshammer&music here: Find More Of My Music HERE: #michaelayotte
