The acting, story and chemistry of the main leads were all ON POINT! Such beautiful directing and wonderful music (especially of that one specific scene in E48). Wu Lei and Zhao Lusi did an amazing job in this drama. This has become one of my favorite dramas of all time. This drama made me laugh, cry, and angry at times. Love how Cheng Shaoshang stayed true to her character and didn’t forgive him immediately. He had to repent and reflect that he made a big mistake. But in the end, they still ended up with each other. Although, wish we could’ve gotten a wedding scene instead of a narrative. 🥰 Wu Lei’s performance has left me in awe. I can feel all his emotions through his eyes: pain, anguish, ruthlessness, love, understanding and loyalty. He was so flawed, such a grey character, yet he found his love, hope and family among the chaos. He deserves an award for his performance. Both main leads deserve some awards along with a reunion of another drama together.
