This is an updated tutorial on How to Stretch Videos in Movavi Video Editor. In this demo, I will show you how to stretch a 4:3 aspect ratio video to a 16:9 aspect ratio video. One way to covert a 4:3 video to a 16:9 video is to use the Crop tool in Movavi. However, using this method, you will lose some of the content in the video. If you’d like keep all the content and just stretch the video, you will need to Stretch the video. In order to do so, follow these steps: (1) add a plain background image to one of the video tracks in Movavi; (2) next, add the 4:3 aspect ratio MP4 video on another track (over top of the background image); (3) adjust the background image to cover the duration of the video; (4) right-click on the video and choose Tools and then Overlay; (5) you will then need to adjust the video (in the Preview section) to fit the blue background; (6) finally, render the video by using the Export button.
