In today&tutorial I am showing you the very first crochet skill needed to crochet in the round - the magic ring. Also known as the magic circle, this skill is required for beginners to be able to crochet amigurumi and other popular items. In this video I am going to show you a quick and easy technique to form the magic ring or magic circle, and how to single crochet (double crochet in UK terminology) into it to start your pattern. I have done this at a beginner&pace, so hopefully this slow motion tutorial is helpful.
