BMW Code 5088, Diagnosis and Repair

I have been seeing this code for a while now and just in the last month i saw this code about 7 times so i decided to start research and when i got this BMW X5 in i was able to diagnose and fix the car. My theory is to look at the definition of the code and this may put you in the right direction, as i get Bmw&in with this code i will keep everyone updated on what i do to fix these cars. I hope this video helps, there is not much information out there on this code
