Tech Trails: Parts Edition
ASRock will unveil two high-quality gaming monitors at CES 2024, both featuring OLED displays: the 27-inch PGO27QFS2A and the 34-inch curved PGO34QRT2A. Both will offer a QHD resolution and a 240Hz refresh rate, confirming their commitment to providing high-end solutions for gaming enthusiasts. The most relevant news in ASRock&announcement concerns the presentation of new high-speed monitors designed specifically for e-sports, called “King of Speed”. Both with a 27-inch display, the PG27QFW2A monitor offers an impressive 400Hz refresh rate at QHD resolution, while the PG27FFX2A pushes it even higher reaching 520Hz, presumably with an FHD (1080p) display, although this specification has not been explicitly mentioned in the press release. Additionally, ASRock has announced a significant 180Hz upgrade for existing Phantom Gaming monitors. The company seems intent on revisiting these screens, introducing the new 32-inch PG32QRT2A monitor, characterized by a 1000R curvature and QHD resolution, and the 27-inch PG27QFT2A with IPS panel and 180Hz refresh rate. Although ASRock has provided only a little information at the moment, confirming support for AMD FreeSync Premium and DisplayHDR True Black certification, we expect further details and images will be revealed in the next week, with the official start of CES 2024. The company seems committed to offer advanced solutions in the gaming field, maintaining a confidential approach in the information disseminated up to this point. ↪...
