With care the Behringer EDGE can be sequenced by MIDI in the same way as the onboard step sequencer but you&need a MIDI to CV converter. Here I&using the CRAVE but any module or synth can has similar functions should be able to do the same. for price and convenience though the CRAVE is hard to beat... plus you get an extra synth! Unfortunately EDGE itself will not output MIDI pitch from the CV OUT so you can not do it directly with the EDGE, and need a little help from a MIDI to CV converter. Here I&sequenced the EDGE using LOGIC but this will work with any DAW, Cubase, FL, Ableton Live etc. The trick is to use MIDI with the CRAVE and patch it to replicate the velocity and pitch outputs from the EDGE. It looks a bit convoluted and complex but is quite simple.
