What a beautiful flower! Our new (to us) variety of the ever popular Alliums, much loved by bees and other insects, is given a trail planting in our sunny border. We new it was going to get quite tall - and they easily reached 6 foot plus - but the other benefit is the length of time the flowers last for, at the time of uploading this video the flowers have been open for at least a month and look like they are going to keep on going for another month. They also started flowering later than any other Allium we have grown in the past.
