Have you ever had a sewing machine that you just couldn&love or come to terms with? Well, I&afraid in my case the Juki DX-2000qvp is that machine. I bought the Juki DX-2000qvp new in 2016 and have used it on everything from curtains to quilts. While it&never needed repair, I just haven&found a "rhythm" with the machine. I&constantly comparing it to a 1980&era Viking 980 and the Juki DX-2000qvp just doesn&preform on the level of that now vintage Viking. In the video I discuss my Juki DX-2000qvp vs. my Singer 301, my current free motion quilting (fmq) project and some of the fmq feet I have used. While I did finish up the fmq on the Juki, I bound the project with the Singer 301. While some frustrations with sewing machines can be operator error, that comes with the territory. In the end it&important to match the machine not only to the type of sewing you&be doing but, the machine needs to match you too. The machine needs to put a BIG &SMILE on your face when you use it and should feel comfortable like you favorite comfy sweater on a cool day. I&think you&see in this video the Singer 301 puts this smile on my face. Alternate name for this video could be: Don&let the Sewing Grinch steal your sewing happiness. ; ) lol Links for Big Feet FMQ Darning Feet for information only, I don&get compensated or do I endorse these products or vendors: Amazon - Low Shank: Sewing Parts Online - Slant Shank:
