Excellente vs Cort Gold D8, Shootout of Cannons under 1000$

Comparison of Two very good options under 1000$ ... Excellente has the bling, Gold D8 has the loudest volume. Both have a scooped frequency range similar to Rosewood Guitars. Both have great sustain but Cort Gold D8 is more resonant and loud. This might be due to a very thin UV cured glossy finish. The Epi seems to be heavier and with a thick laquer on it. Cort Gold D8 has a Torrified Top that makes it sound more vintage out of the box.
