Foxes Mating

One early January morning two urban foxes mated in my garden. After mating they were locked together for 35 minutes. It&called a mating tie and the same thing happens with domestic dogs. It&thought that by preventing the vixen from mating with another suitor, the male fox increases the chances of passing on his genes.
