Ever take a ride on the subway in New York City ? The MTA mass transit system in New York has so many quirks, and sights that it is worth an afternoon of urban exploration! We start out at West 4th street station in Manhattan (Greenwich Village) and film some street musicians. We then head uptown to 14th street to check out some awesome bronze sculptures inside the station, by Tom Otterness. After that, we head on the B train for a scenic subway ride over the Manhattan Bridge to take in the views of both Manhattan and Brooklyn. We then return to Manhattan, passing the famous "Transiscope" art installation! Finally, we head for the 6 train and board the downtown subway car for Brooklyn Bridge station. We stay on the train after it reaches the final station, and get to have the whole train to ourselves as I film some shots of the abandoned City Hall Station! I aim to show you how you can spend a fun day exploring, with just the swipe of metrocard, and a little insider knowledge! Be a part of where you go. Subscribe to follow my vlogs and travel smarter.
