2017 Smart Fortwo 453 - Change Spark Plugs

Tools Needed: 14 mm Spark Plug socket 3/8 drive (link below) 3/8 drive ratchet 3/8 drive extension 6 inches long 10 mm socket 1/4 or 3/8 drive Anti-Seize Lube (links below) 1/4 inch drive ratchet if you use a 1/4 drive 10 mm socket. (it is much easier to use the 1/4 drive ratchet to remove the bolt that holds the coil pack, since the ratchet is smaller) Parts: 3 pc NGK Laser Iridium Spark Plugs compatible with Smart Fortwo 0.9L L3 2016-2017 91121 or ILKAR7J7G Spurtar 14mm Spark Plug Socket 3/8-inch Drive Thin Wall Magnetic Spark Plug Socket - 12-Point Anti-seize lube. The Permatex is a small tube that will last for a few uses. The Versachem is a 8 oz bottle that will last many years. Get a small tube if you really don&have an underlying need to keep anti-seize lube on hand. Permatex 81343 Anti-Seize Lubricant, 1 oz. Tube Versachem 13010 Anti-Seize Thread Lubricant - 8 oz. with Brush-Top Bottle This is the big bottle of Permatex. It is good stuff too.
