Hello, friends! It feels like summer has quietly slipped away, and we’re amazed at how quickly the seasons turn here in Russia. People often ask me, “When is the best time to visit Russia?” My honest answer is always the same — don’t come here for the weather. Come for the experience. Because no matter the season, Russia has a way of surprising you with its beauty. Each time of year has revealed its own magic to us. Winter, wrapped in white snow and endless overcast skies, was still breathtaking in its silence and stillness. Then came spring — a fairytale of buds appearing on trees, flowers pushing through the soil, and life returning everywhere you look. Summer arrived with long endless days, bright blue skies, and afternoons filled with powerful rain and thunderstorms. And now… we welcome autumn. When we first set off on this journey, we made a private promise: we would stay in Russia for at least one full year. It was a quiet vow — one I shared only with Patrick and my sister.
