These repair instructions describe the steps to follow in the event of defective lamps. The message "Lamp/fuse defective" appears on the instrument cluster. Switch on all vehicle lamps and check all lamps for proper operation. A driving light is defective on this Atego 2. The bulb of the driving light must be replaced. All lamps and the ignition must be switched off before starting work. The electrical system must be deenergized. Make space to work in by tilting the cab. The bulb can now be replaced. Note: Only hold the bulb at the rear with gloves on. This avoids the risk of burn injuries and damage to the reflector. To replace the bulb, detach the cover and disconnect the connector plug. Remove the defective bulb. Insert a new, functional bulb. Plug in the connector plug after installing the bulb. The cover must be reinstalled once everything is attached. Read off the adjustment value for the driving lights before adjusting the headlamps. The adjustment value can be found on the vehicle identification plate or in the WIS document.
