Listening to the Oktava MD-66A on Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar & Voice | No Talking, No-nonsens

The Oktava MD-66A is a Soviet (USSR) dynamic microphone. Last year I bought one on location in Armenia. It didn&come with any cabling so I built an XLR connector cable for it (at the end of the video there is a time-lapse showing that process). Here I record snippets of electric guitar, acoustic guitar and voice using the Oktava MD-66A, Grace Design m101 microphone preamp, and ProTools.
