Thanks you! This video is for the new sewer. It is a complete 1 hour video that covers threading the Singer Heavy Duty (Classic 44S in this video). I also go through the various needles and their uses. I then show you an example of thread tension control, along with using the optional overcast foot with the overcast (serged) stitch offered by all the Singer Heavy Duty machines. It is slow paced in order to get the new sewer up and running successfully. If you are the ADD type then this video might not be for you. MY ERRORS: I noticed the thread cap I placed over the spool of thread was on backwards in this video. Sorry, I wasn&paying close attention as I always use industrial spools of thread on external stands. The wide part of the cap should be closest to the spool. In other words reverse it from the way you see it placed on this video. Also, I should NOT have placed the thread I used in winding the bobbin on the horizontal spool - it should have been placed on the vertical post.
