Apoptosis Animation

This was a semester long project where I worked with a Biology student to create a 3D animation of a biological process. Apoptosis is also known as programmed cell death. It is the process that tadpoles go through to shed their tails. I built all of the models and did all of the animation in Maya and then composited the backgrounds in After Effects.
