Gibson 57 Classic Pickups: how do they sound in a PRS? PART 2

The guitar is a 1992 American PRS CE24 with a bolt-on neck (not set). It’s always been a dream to play, but I found the coil tapped sounds a little too bright and harsh for my liking. I also own an Epiphone Les Paul 1960 Tribute Plus, which is fitted with Gibson USA 57 classic pickups (57classic in the neck position and 57 classic plus in the bridge position) and I found the parallel switching option on that guitar was much more pleasing than the coil-tapped option of the PRS. So, my experiment was to see if I could produce a similar sound on the PRS, by using those same Gibson 57 pickups, so that I could have the excellent playability of the PRS with the same creamy sound which those Gibson pickups produced! Did I succeed? Watch video 1 and 2 to find out!
