This is part one of the page which I have called Lady Raven in Anastasia Koldareva&book Nocturnes. I have recently been learning to use Pan Pastels as a base for coloring skin. I follow up the pastels with Prismacolor pencils for more shading and details. I have listed the supplies below. Thanks for watching! First, I want to thank the extremely talented Karen at @ArtbyKarenValentine for her wonderful tutorials on using pan pastels for skin (and all her other wonderful videos)! This totally changes my skin-coloring game! :) Nocturnes by Anastasia Koldareva: Pan Pastels: Red Iron Oxide Ex. Dark Red Iron Oxide Shade Burnt Sienna Ex. Dark Burnt Sienna Shade Magenta Ex. Dark Titanium White Colorless Blender Prismacolors: Beige PC997 Nectar PC1092 Henna PC1031 Mahogany Red PC1029 Chestnut PC1081 Sienna Brown PC945 Goldenrod PC1034 Chocolate PC1082 Espresso PC1099 Sepia PC948 White PC938 Holbein: Black OP510 (You can use any black, I just wanted a harder pencil than the Prisma black. A Polychromo or something similar would work, too.) Pan pastels: There are many places/sites to get these. Your local art supply store may even carry them. They are more expensive sold separately on Amazon. The skin set on Amazon is a good price, but you don&get all the colors needed to color darker skin.
