Small segment of the second movement of Dmitri Shostakovich&Symphony No. 11 in G minor op. 103 conducted by Semyon Bychkov and performed by the WDR Symphony Orchestra in 2001. This part of the movement was also used for some editions of the ‘Odessa Steps’ sequence in the Soviet silent film BATTLESHIP POTEMKIN (1925, Dir: Sergei Eisenstein). MUSICAL STRUCTURE II.
