XLT 125 LED Headlight Features

Hi. I’m Jim Nelson from Enova Illumination. Today we’re going to talk about Enova’s model XLT-125 LED Surgical Headlight System. It is the newest, most popular and most versatile LED surgical headlight. It is recommended for a variety of surgeries including plastic, cosmetic, reconstructive, general, oral and maxillofacial, OB/GYN, colo-rectal, ENT, vascular; often it is used for deep cavity surgeries such as cardio-thoracic, ortho spine, neuro, and urology. Since the light intensity is adjustable and can be decreased, the XLT-125 can b used for clinical exams, dermatology, and even ER. The specific features on the XLT-125 include brightness. It has a brightness of 125,000 lux; that is luminous per square meter. We measure it at 14 inches from the surgical site. It offers pure, white illumination, 6100 degrees Kelvin…like sunlight on a cloudy day. It has an adjustable aperture from two inches all the way up to five inches. It has adjustable intensity from 100 percent down to 30 percent. And, it has co-axial alignment. When you put the headlight on, you can adjust the LED lamp right between your eyes and above your nose so your vision is the same as the illumination, which allows you to see through the bottom of the surgical site. The Xlt-125 also has extra long battery life; 24 hours at medium intensity and eight hours at maximum intensity. The battery pack has a battery life indicator. The lamp itself is made out of aluminum for maximum reliability and durability.
