Captain Hardcore v0.7 is out now! The main feature of this build is the mo-cap animation timeline, playback controls and saving system! This controls all characters in the scene with one UI so you can play, pause, rewind and scrub through the entire scene animation easily. It&now easier to layer up animations, and the IK points will stay in sync with each other as they&all controlled by one timer instead of having their own individual timers. The first motion you record will determine the overall length of the loop, then you can rewind to the start and record another IK point or character and gradually layer things up. There&also buttons to increase or decease the duration of the loop or clear the whole thing. All IK points can now be animated including elbow and knee controls, upper body IK and look at targets. Mocap animations are now saved with the scene, when loading a scene the animations will auto play. Loops are also now seamless. The start and end are automatically blended to create a smooth transition. Captain Hardcore is an adult VR and non-VR game set in the darkest reaches of the universe. The core of the game will be a sandbox but there are plans to add story, gameplay, quests, weapons, procedural environments and a lot more!
