It is an open Android fully discrete NOS R2R DAP that promises to deliver a natural and musical sound with its unique DAC and amplification design. Let’s take a closer look at this amazing device and see what it can do. The HiBy RS6 is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. It has a large 5-inch 1080p display that is bright and responsive. The HiBy RS6 runs on open Android 9 OS, which means you can install any third-party apps you want, such as streaming services, games, or EQ apps. The HiBy RS6 also supports HiByLink, which allows you to control the device remotely from your smartphone. But the most impressive feature of the HiBy RS6 is its DAC and amplification system. The HiBy RS6 uses a discrete R2R DAC that consists of 48 matched resistors per channel. This is a very rare and complex design that aims to reproduce the original analog waveform of the music without any digital artifacts or distortion. The HiBy RS6 also has a separate DSD bypass mode that uses low-pass filters to reduce noise and enhance clarity. The HiBy RS6 can decode PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and DSD up to DSD256 natively.
